Project Manager Strategy & Corporate Development (m/f/d) – international eCommerce Holding

The Company

Our client is an international top player in the field of eCommerce, retail and other industries with a multiple portfolio of successful portfolio companies and a total revenue of € 10 billion plus.

The Holding has a high-level Strategy/Corporate Development Group with handpicked professionals. They act as the thinktank of the Group and manage very different international strategic projects, such as building up new business areas, sustainability strategy for the Group, etc.

Your Tasks

  • You will be responsible for strategy, transformation, growth issues projects and lead multidisciplinary teams
  • Together with senior management, you will lead a significant strategic program to develop our client’s strategy
  • Work closely with the Executive Management team (mainly CEO/COO) on the successful implementation of the strategy goals
  • You will be part of the senior management team
  • Perspective of the role is to develop into future line management and/or Country Head roles in the portfolio companies

What You Bring With You

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in a TOP tier consulting firm. Additional industry experience in consumer goods/luxury goods/retail is a plus
  • Track record of first successfully overseeing demanding international projects
  • Broad experience across different aspects of a business, particularly strong understanding of key financial and business processes of an organization
  • Interest in digital and eCommerce
  • Interest in working in a fast growing and dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills are mandatory
  • Capability to quickly develop a strong “standing” within the organization
  • Ability to challenge initiative owners in a constructive way with respect to overall feasibility and impact of initiatives
  • Hands-on mentality; down-to-earth attitude
  • Broad set of influencing skills

  • A driven, open, honest and collaborative individual with strong commercial skills
