The Company

Our client is a multinational professional services network with headquarters in Germany. It is considered one of the Big Four accounting firms. It primarily provides assurance (which includes financial audit), tax, consulting and advisory services to its clients. Like many of the larger accounting firms in recent years, our client has expanded into markets adjacent to accounting, including strategy, operations, HR, technology, and financial services consulting.

Within the client‘s private equity team, they are looking to hire experts who have a successful track record in the post-deal environment, i.e. in tech transformation and tech restructuring.

Your Tasks

  • Manage the carve-out of relevant management systems (CRM, ERP, finance consolidation etc.), other core applications as well as IT infrastructure
  • Analyze all planning and operational processes and translate them into the need for change to achieve state-of-the art in the new carved-out business
  • Support of portfolio companies to improve their existing processes
  • Multiplying best-practice solutions for other portfolio companies
  • Coaching and development of staff at portfolio companies to ensure continuous improvement processes

What You Bring With You

  • Technical or business degree from a reputable university or strong record of end-to-end tech transformations
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in consulting/carve-out or restructuring projects
  • Experience of working with Cloud and SaaS solutions
  • Strong architecture (technical/integration/network) extremely beneficial
  • Experience with creation/change of IT target operating models
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take data-driven decisions combined with “hands on mentality” and “thinking out of the box”
  • International work experience
  • Ensure customer and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Professional communication and presentation of information, with audience-appropriate adaption
  • Strong knowledge of general process design in IT systems
  • Fluency in German is important, in English mandatory
