As part of the global reinsurance segment, the Reinsurance Strategy & Organization department is responsible for strategy development and implementation, as well as designing and executing organizational changes for all operational and central divisions and the overall Reinsurance (RI) segment.


Your Tasks

  • Digital strategy for the RI segment: strategy and business development based on markets analyses, trends, competition, the company business portfolio and risk appetite
  • Keeping up with current trends in disruptive technology and assessing the marketability of such technology
  • Establishing opinion leadership by assessing and developing tech-based solutions and/or partners
  • Organization and restructuring: redesign of digital operating models and organizational structures to improve effectiveness and enable new business models
  • Project management: lead or support digital strategy and reorganization projects throughout the global RI group
  • M&As: evaluation of strategic fit potential and design of post-merger integration scenarios of identified digital targets
  • Support for divisions and divisional units: methodological and functional advice to management of business units; preparing and holding workshops; implementing initiatives (e.g. new business development)
  • Strategy communication: continuous development of the reinsurance story as well as support for internal and external events (e.g. analyst conferences)


What You Bring With You

  • Excellent university degree in science or equivalent
  • Min. 4 years expertise in strategy and business development based on relevant professional experience at a renowned management consultancy
  • Hands-on expertise in building or growing a digital business based on relevant professional experience (e.g. product management, analytics, front-end or back-end development, etc.) at a renowned startup or established digital company
  • Experience in the management of large and complex projects as well as the facilitation of workshops
  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills
  • High level of commitment, team spirit and an integrative personality
  • Excellent language proficiency in English
