The Company

Our client is one of the worldwide leading companies in the financial services industry with focus on mobility-oriented services and products.

Your Tasks

  • Develop and refine the strategy including its underlying business model and prepare strategic action plans for top management and overall strategic planning process
  • Identify future trends in the insurance industry and evaluate their potential impact on the business model
  • Develop new and innovative insurance and mobility service solutions to better meet distribution partners’ and clients’ needs
  • Identify growth opportunities with current and future client products and services
  • Lead and manage strategic projects and initiatives, including communication of results to top management, steering of work streams, challenging of deliverables and building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Drive the strategic planning process
  • Support the functional departments and actively steer joint projects with external partners (incl. tracking progress and taking actions as needed to ensure successful achievement of set targets)
  • Continuously challenge and enhance internal processes in order to increase efficiency and to reduce complexity
  • Prepare strategic topics for management board as well as strategic planning processes
  • Direct report to top management and Board

What You Bring With You

  • Excellent university degree
  • Min. 3 years’ professional experience in strategy consulting
  • Proven functional knowledge of financial services and/or insurance
  • Flexibility to quickly become acquainted with new project tasks, content and assignments
  • Excellent and proven project management skills and distinct understanding of financials
  • Advanced ability to develop strong business relationships, to collaborate with different internal and external stakeholders; proven frequent exposure to top management
  • Ability to communicate complex issues and build rapport with top managemen
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with strong communication, negotiation and diplomatic skills
  • Intercultural sensitivity and strong international experience
  • Excellent verbal and written German and English language skills required
