The department Organization & Process Design is responsible for a holistic perspective on structures and processes across the group. The importance of and demand for process optimization and digitalization is steadily growing. The ambition is to facilitate the advancement to a digital enterprise while helping business and central units achieve digital process excellence.

We are looking for a highly-motivated Project Manager (m/f/d) to strengthen the team in this demanding task.

Your Tasks

  • Modelling current processes, identifying improvement opportunities and digitization potential
  • Defining target pictures (esp. “to-be processes”) with process owners and supporting business in eliminating effort and complexity drivers
  • Create business cases for (digital) transformation opportunities
  • Understanding and leveraging the potential of digital technologies for re-engineering of business processes. Derive use cases for automation and digitalization as well as digital collaboration
  • Challenge application specifications in terms of process fit and process maturity, e.g. by performing gap-analyses
  • Manage projects, apply creativity and process optimization techniques, as well as application of process transformation tools and methods
  • Actively contribute in identifying opportunities (e.g. moderation of workshops, analysis and documentation) thereby driving the overall roadmap for a digital transformation of the group
  • Support definition, documentation and implementation of a group-specific framework and methodology for process optimization
  • Conduct trainings for the process management tool ADONIS as well as support business units in case of methodological/tool-related questions
  • Ensure compliance to process-system-related SII requirements, e.g. by supporting process owners in updating process landscapes

What You Bring With You

  • Excellent university degree
  • 4+ years’ expertise in consulting or industry with a profound understanding of business models and processes
  • Good understanding of the primary/reinsurance value chain, challenges and digitization is a plus
  • Profound experience in business process reengineering methodologies
  • Experience in IT solution design and IT architectural concepts is an advantage
  • Passion for digitalization and new innovative technologies, sound understanding of digitalization tools like Process Mining, OCR, RPA, NLP and Workflow Automation
  • Experience in management of projects in the context of process optimization and automation
  • Entrepreneurial and highly self-motivated personality with a strong ambition to drive change
  • Strong team play and personal integrity, highly developed soft skills, especially strong communication, networking and intercultural skills
  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills
  • Excellent language proficiency in English, German is a plus
